Why We Love It:
Woolly Speedwell forms a dense mat of soft gray-green foliage that creates a beautiful living carpet throughout the year. In spring, the plant becomes covered in vivid blue blooms that stand out brilliantly against gravel, stone, and other alpine plants. Tough, adaptable, and exceptionally waterwise once established, it’s one of the best low-growing groundcovers for adding color and texture to sunny rock gardens.

Additional Info:
Thrives in dry conditions and sharply drained soils. Excellent planted alongside spring bulbs such as tulips, crocus, and miniature daffodils. Deadhead after flowering to maintain a tidy appearance and encourage dense growth. Can tolerate occasional light foot traffic.
