Why We Love It:
‘Underworld’ miniature speedwell forms a dense carpet of glossy green foliage that looks attractive year-round. In spring, the entire plant becomes covered in vivid blue flowers, creating a bright, jewel-like display against gravel and stone. Compact, durable, and exceptionally waterwise once established, it’s one of those small-scale plants that adds a huge amount of detail and texture to a rock garden.
Additional Info:
Native to the mountains of Turkey, this alpine groundcover thrives in dry conditions and sharply drained soils. Its tiny foliage resembles creeping thyme, and it slowly spreads to soften edges and fill gaps between stones or along pathways. Excellent for troughs, crevice gardens, and other small-scale alpine plantings.
