Why We Love It:
Native to western North America, spearleaf stonecrop is one of those dependable alpine succulents that thrives with almost no effort. Its compact rosettes tuck naturally into rock crevices and gravel gardens, while the bright yellow flowers bring cheerful color in late spring and early summer. Tough, drought tolerant, and incredibly adaptable, it’s an easy choice for sunny water-wise landscapes where texture and resilience matter.

Additional Info:
This hardy native sedum naturally grows in rocky mountain environments and is exceptionally well suited for Colorado gardens. Performs best in lean, well-drained soils and does not tolerate prolonged wet conditions, especially in winter. Excellent for troughs, alpine gardens, retaining walls, and dry sunny plantings with minimal irrigation.
