Why We Love It:
This distinctive alpine forms soft silvery carpets that look sculpted into the landscape year-round. Its dense, low-growing habit makes it especially beautiful tucked into crevices, spilling between stones, or woven through gravel gardens where texture becomes the focus. The delicate white blooms float just above the foliage in summer, adding subtle seasonal interest while keeping the plant’s refined alpine character intact.

Additional Info:
Thrives in lean, gritty soils with excellent drainage and performs best in dry sunny conditions. Particularly well suited for trough gardens, alpine plantings, and crevice gardens where its fine texture can be appreciated up close. Extremely drought tolerant once established and happiest in locations that avoid winter wetness.
