Why We Love It:
This vigorous creeping phlox creates a brilliant white carpet of spring color that seems to glow against stone, gravel, and evergreen foliage. Its dense mats spill naturally over walls, soften edges, and weave beautifully through rock gardens while remaining tidy and evergreen throughout the year. Tough, drought tolerant, and incredibly reliable, it’s one of those classic groundcovers that always delivers a strong seasonal display with very little maintenance.
Additional Info:
An easy-to-grow perennial that performs best in sunny locations with good drainage. Excellent planted alongside spring bulbs such as tulips, crocus, and daffodils where its spreading evergreen foliage helps create layered seasonal interest. Steadily spreads to fill open sunny areas and works especially well on slopes, retaining walls, and xeric landscapes.
