‘Oberg’ is a vigorous ice plant that quickly creates a dense carpet of color in hot, sunny gardens. The soft pink blooms fade gracefully to lighter tones, giving the plant a layered look that changes throughout the season. Its evergreen succulent foliage stays tidy year-round, while its drought tolerance and spreading habit make it especially useful for slopes, retaining walls, and difficult dry spaces. Tough, low maintenance, and long blooming, it’s a dependable performer in water-wise landscapes.

Additional Info:
Deer resistant and exceptionally easy to grow once established. Requires excellent drainage and performs best in sandy, gravelly, or lean soils. Avoid excessive fertilizer or overly rich soils, which can reduce flowering and weaken the plant’s compact habit. Excellent for erosion control, cascading over walls, and filling sunny rock gardens with long-lasting color.
