Why We Love It:
‘Powis Castle’ Artemisia is one of the best plants for adding soft silver texture to sunny, water-wise landscapes. Its finely cut aromatic foliage creates an airy, almost cloud-like effect that contrasts beautifully with bolder perennials, grasses, and stone. Tough enough to handle heat, drought, and lean soils, yet refined enough for formal borders and containers, it’s a versatile plant that brings structure and movement to the garden with very little maintenance.
Additional Info:
Highly drought tolerant once established and naturally deer resistant thanks to its aromatic foliage. Performs best in average to poor soils with excellent drainage and should be avoided in wet or humid conditions. Prune lightly in early spring to maintain a dense, bushy habit and refresh growth. Excellent for blending plants together in xeric landscapes and adding year-round silver contrast.
